Well, NWN2 is definately more complex than the original game, but it allows for bigger and better things. I just wish Wizards existed.
I voted the interface as I've had nothing but trouble with it. Error after error, things not working like they should, such as with making armor. It display from a female human avatar, when that should be customizable. I know there are mods out there, but there shouldn't have to be.
Lately with the expansion, things do not appear in the toolset at all. Some props, and the new creatures such as treants. They also have a lot of the original games content such as voices, that are not active in the game (without a mod). And when they announced tinting for props and creatures, I don't remember them saying it was going to be limited to a certain few, I thought you'd be able to change everything to any color, so you can have your gold and platinum dragons.
When it comes to the other catagories, the textures can be improved, blueprints and objects are a little bit more complex, but not too much trouble. Scripting has and always will be an issue to many of us who do not have the time or patience to learn, but thanks to a wonderful and helpful community its possible to get the help you need.
Other than that, I think modding should be easier, and I hate to use the game as an example as I despise it... The Sims 2. You place the file where in needs to be, can pack it up and share it with other builders, allowing us to pick and choose what we wish to use for ingame or toolset purposes. And lastly, Persistant Worlds were a very big part of the original Neverwinter, and they still are.
